Kanchi nominated for Most Beautiful Website

The Kanchi website, which I did some video work on, is shortlisted for the Most Beautiful Website in Ireland in the Irish Web Awards. It might also be nominated for the Most Accessible Site – we’re waiting for the shortlist to be announced.

Big up the Brightspark team!

October will be fun…

What am I looking forward to?

The Twisted Pepper, Bodytonic’s new venue, is opening at the start of the month. They’re taking over Traffic on Middle Abbey Street, which is just a hop, skip and a jump from where I live – happy days!

The Dublin Theatre Festival is on from the 25 September – 12 October.

DEAF is on from 23-26 October. The overall line-up looks great and they’re letting me take part in a group exhibition at the Joinery. I’ll post up more about that soon…

Stop Complaining

“If you’ve got something to complain about, then you’ve got something to do.”

So stop complaining about how Dublin is so rat racey and commercialised and materialistic and boring and not cool and over priced and there’s nothing to do and nowhere to go and…

Do something.

I like the spirit of this:

It’s a trailer for a documentary about DIY culture in Dublin, made by a group of young people with no previous film experience. Exactly.
